No, I've always loved these. I've just never made icons, XD ... I reinstalled my screenshot taker so I took a million CSI: Miami screenshots.

MINI TUTORIAL FOR 10, 16, both from this picture, made in PS6:
01. Do what you want with your base. For me, I think I changed my color balance. (Settings: -26, 13, 13) I also think I did Auto Levels and Auto Contrast.
02. Create a new layer, and fill it with a dark blue color. Set the layout on "Color".
03. Duplicate your base, bring it to the top and set it to "Screen".
04. Either duplicate your dark blue layer or create a new layer and fill it with the same dark blue from before. Set this layer to "Color".
05. Duplicate your base again and set it to screen, again.
06. Play around with your layers to get your desired effect :D
